The Oncology Clinical Specialist is responsible for assisting in the planning, organization, and direction of clinical pharmaceutical services to ensure our quality standard of care throughout the continuum. You will provide specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes for patients; collaborate with pharmacy managers in the development of training and education programs and evaluation processes for clinical activities of pharmacist staff; and prepare formulary review and drug use evaluations of medications used in the area of clinical expertise for presentation to the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
The Pharmacist places strong emphasis on patient care with the patient as the highest priority and central focus in all endeavors and undertakings of the individual and the department.
Pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science or PharmD)
Valid licensure or eligibility from the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy
Successful completion of a post-graduate residency or equivalent experience in specific area of expertise
